A fuser unit usually consists of three different components: a heating element, encased by the fixing roller, as well as the pressure roller, which is usually made of silicone or similar. This is pressed against the fixing roller by springs. |
| functionality |
The heating element through which the electric current flows heats the fixing roller to a temperature of around 180 ° C and thus forms the basis for being able to melt the toner.
